Now in a survey I was reading yetsurday it said 10% of people don't. Frankly I think a lot of those people being surveyed were lying, I'm always seeing people using the urinal then not washing their hands. Then a lot that do wash there hands just splash a little bit of water on them, thats hardly wahsing your hands proplerly now is it?
Now I know urine is clean and read that a toliet actually has less bacteria then an average office desk but the point is the bathroom gives people an oppertunity threw the course of the day to occationally wash their hands to get off any nastness picked up from other places. So if you're not washing your hands when you use the bathroom when on earth are people?
In conclusion why do people find it so freaking hard to wash their hands! If you have a dry skin condition like myself use a soap substute!

I agree with u totally. Alot of freakin people do that. One person told me they cant wash all the time because of a dry skin condition and their skin cracks. Ok i understand that but there is a lotion or somethin out there for that condition. u can use that after every wash. And then ther are just some lazy nasty people out there. gross

I've heard that 60-some per cent of all women do, and fewer men do! Gross. I think, of all people, men should. They've got to touch a part of their anatomy. (I'l word it like that to remain decent.) once, though I saw a woman and her small daughter, about four or five years old, at a restaurant. I was just finishing washing my hands---yes, I, wash or use Germ-X all the time---when they came into the restroom. They did their stuff, then the mother asked her child if she was hungry, and off they went without even giving the sinks a glance! 😖 If she didn't care about her own health, that's her lookout; but did she have no concern for her child's? Wash, wash, wash, not neglecting under your fingernails. Fairly warm water is sufficient; it needn't be hot. It's the soap that does the job. If you haven't any access to soap, Germ-X is good. I carry it with me all the time. I'm careful about my hands. I refuse to eat or leave the bathroom without washing first.

I actually watched an episode of some show where they hid cameras in bathrooms to see how often people wash their hands. Men were the ones that washed their hands the least. Then women seemed more likely to wash their hands if someone was in the bathroom with them and less likely if they were alone in the bathroom. I hear ya though it is something you need to start with childhood making sure your children wash their hands after they use the bathroom. The need to get in the habit of doing it and then it comes natural.

I used to work at a supermarket, and there was this little old man that worked in produce. He used to wear gloves like everyone else who handles food. Sounds good so far right? Well, when he went to use the washroom, he went in wearing gloves, and came out... wearing the same pair of gloves!
Now if you don't even have the energy to take off a pair of gloves, turning on the faucet, applying soap, rinsing, turning off faucet... man, that is a lot of work for some people. We should be understanding.
To answer your question though, yes I wash my hands :)

The thing is when you are at work and public places you cant use a soap substitute. And i absolutely hate the feeling of dry skin on my hands, so unless i have been working on something with grease or something else that dirties my hand i see no need to wash my hands if all i did was use a urinal. Using a stall for you know, now that is a different story and hand washing needs to be done at that point.

I always wash my hands and just to be on the safe side I never use my bare hand to open the bathroom door to exit the bathroom just because of all the women I see who don't wash their hands. But some of those same women stop at the mirror just to put on more lipstick. Gross.
