Will the NFL make Arena Football their developmental league now that NFL Europe has folded? I know the rules are different in arena football than professional football, but could this idea work?

they cant just take over the AFL but they can make they're own areana football league.

If the NFL wanted to take over the AFL they shoulda done it in the late 80's when the AFL was weak. Now the AFL is too strong to be bought and getting popular.

However if they could take over the AFL it would be cool.

No, if there is a standout and an NFL team wants to check him out he more than likely would go. They wouldnt need it just like they didnt need the NFL Europe. Arena is its own game, and the NCAA provides all the talent they need some make it and some dont. Chances are if you are in the Arena league you will likely stay there. There are very few that can actually go into the NFL and succeed big time i.e. Kurt Warner and a few others made a good transition but thats it out of so many years. I like Arena football and I like the fact that it is in the Spring becasue that is when I am dying for football.
