Not if you are any kind of a decent man. Little boys want mommies to take care of them. Men take care of their families. They carry their weight with half of the household chores, helping take care of the kids when they get home from their jobs. They also get an education so they can be the sole financial support for their families. Kids need their mom at home with them and not stuck in a day care where someone else raises them.

I am sure there are tons of people out there who will bash me to pieces after saying that. But guess what, statistics show what I've just said produces a happy home. Not to mention 9 years of a happy marriage and two well adjusted kids.

I would have no problem with being a house wife. And taking care of the kids and home. But your question seems directed at being a bum. To put that whole burden on ones mate is asking for trouble. There would come the day he or she tires of doing it all. And just pack up and leave. Leave the kids and the dead beat husband or wife. It has happened many times. With out a word of warning.

Yes you can, but the real question is, at what cost? That person can only be pampered for so long and then when the "honeymoon" is over, its demands, complaints, and the one thats doing all the work noticing the lack of appreciation through their sloth like attitude towards working it out together. Or worse! The one that works get depressed and burnt out.
If you know anyone like this, do them a favor and kick them off of their life of leisure and get them moving before they turn into a mess.

I am a stay at home mom and in no way do I consider that an easy life! I did work and take care of house, kids, and job but i moved to the country and now it would cost more for gas and babysitter than i would make at work. But when I did work going to work was like a break from my home life. Working at a job is easier than working at home. I wish people would realize that. If you work away from home your job ends but staying at home your motherly duties never end. Motherhood is great and I love it but i wish people would stop thinking us stay at home parents just sit on our BUTTS!

If you love yourself, you will never let anyone abuse or sit on you. Your inner strength will also help attract positive minded people into your circle of friends. If you are in a situation where you are abused or extremely timid, seek counselling. You need to free yourself and become assertive and self preserving. No one has the right to put you down. No one.

NO I COULD NOT! to burden a woman with all of your crap would be incredibly selfish and cruel. children are both [arents responsibility so if your don't want to care for them DONT HAVE ANY!!! also if you want the woman to stay home you have to AT LEAST bring home the money. there is no happy marriage (whether or not you LOVE eachother ) that works without balance and respect so if you are too lazy for that then your butt needs to be single for the rest of your life or, if she will let you, stay at home with mom.
