There are so many factors to suicide...
I was going to make a list but basically it all included one word
LOSS
If something is missing or "taken away"; for some its the end of the world, and without giving themselves time, they choose not to deal or cant see "the forest through the trees" and end what they feel is a pathetic existence.

Severe Depression is a very sad state. It is painful to have a friend or family member die from suicide. "Living" is even MORE painful for a severly depressed individual.
There are medications for depression. There is therapy to help. There is no quick fix that I know of.
Sometimes, some people find it easier to die than to keep living in so much pain. Most people just want to stop the pain.
I disagree with your assertion that God will not accept a person that commits suicide. If God can forgive all those who have "sinned" against the victim of Suicide, why not the person who decides to end his/her "life" on earth? Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. God created all of us. I believe God would not reject his creation.

It truly is worse for the people who are "left behind" but I think depression completely messes w/ people's brains to the point where they feel like they have no other choice. It's hard to get people to seek help unless you know something is terribly wrong. I think when people commit suicide they think they are doing the right thing and the world is better off w/o them. It's a sad statement but I do believe that.

People commit suicide because they're just depressed for a very very very long period of time.I could think of so many ways to commit suicide the easy and fast way.I've thought of suicide once before. That was when I was feeling so very lonely when everything horrible happen to me at one point of time. But then after awhile it seems so silly,I laughed my heads off. You're right.Suicide is definitely a sin according to my belief. And well suicide is cowardice. Why would anyone think that the world they are about to enter after comitting suicide is any better than the world they once lived? It's probably a lot worst don't you think?

people commit suicide because their problems seem larger than life to them -- and they can no longer cope... depression and other mental illnesses can be the root cause, because of life difficulties....
i don't know if God accepts us after we have committed suicide or not.... PEOPLE say he doesn't
people DO think of their families when they are suicidal, and many times believe the family will be better off if they die.
we can't help it if we can no longer cope... some people need to get good help, they just dont' know how.
you can go to the website below for more information... take care.

Suicide is self-homicide. GOD can boost Time and in a 2nd or too (final ones for some) GOD delivers people yet another possibility to settle for Jesus as their Savior and circulate directly to Heaven. Jesus is the decide. the only people i be conscious of in Hell are those that the Bible says are there, different than that, Jesus is the super decide. wish this facilitates. Ditto.

People commit suicide cause of various reasons. But i guess the thought of suicide comes to them when they stop caring about themselves. I agree that no one should ever think of suicide as a solution to all their problems even though it may seem that they can "leave" every burden behind. Always look on the bright side of life....

Because the pain of living is worse than the pain of dying. Some people have nobody that cares about them, and live in silent misery. They live out their days in agony of knowing out of 6 billion people on the planet, nobody cares if they live or die. They feel that maybe in death they will find the kind of peace they don't know in life.

well my brother did and i dont know why either but it is something in the brain that triggers them to do something like this, they think they have nothing, and that noone loves them, which in relaity alot of people love them they just dont realize it, and unfortunally when suicide does happen it is to late for them to know how much they were loved
