Even though it "seems" like a long time, it really isn't. I always feel like my doctor takes a long time to do it but it really isn't that long of an examination at all.

Even if what he was doing was purely professional, you should voice your concerns. Next time you go in (if you decide to go back) tell him that you're a little nervous and uncomfortable with him poking around down there for a long time without making it clear what he's doing. If he gets defensive, or reacts in any way other than reassuring you and doing better the next time, go get another doctor.

If you are getting a pelvic exam or papsmear he should only take a a minute or less. I have never heard or experienced anything different. If you feel uncomfortable than follow your instincts and report to his boss or ask another doctor the same question. You should report ! If he is a pervert, than he must be doing it to other women. I would report it and ask them to keep me confidential. You never know if your one of other women who have complained. His behavior is unacceptable.

If it felt good, he was doing something he shouldn't. Did he have a nurse in there with him or was he alone? He's not supposed to be in there alone doing an exam like that.
