Do you think that it is possible to want to be with 2 people at once or do you think that someone can only want one person but that the person they want won't give them what they want or need so they use someone else to supplement that?

I think a few people have read into what I asked. I am not in a situation of wanting 2 people. I am on the receiving end of it. I have been told by my partner that they wanted me and someone else at the same time and I do not believe that is possible. Frankly, I think we only want one person but if that person doesn't play ball and doesn't give us back what we want, we use someone else to meet that need.

Of course you can. But if you do then you should know that neither of them are the one you are meant to be with. When you find that one he is all you will want.
Why don't you take a look at exactly what you want. Figure out if your expectancies for a relationship are realistic and work from there.

Of course, it's possible to want two people at the same time. Although I think it is possible that, as you fall more in love with the second someone who has come along, you will fall more out of love with the first person who was there to begin with. But, if it's all casual, then definitely heck yeah.

im in the same situation look it is possible for a while but as time goes on you ought to loose both of them.so to prevent that u rather stick with one person.take your time ,or meditate on both guys, write down the positives and negatives of both guys most important learn to listen to your heart let it guide you.spend time away from both and think it through

If you're question is implying that you're cheating on someone, or wanting to, why don't you just put that someone out of their misery by dumping them.... you never know who else is on the market...

yes, but if you act on it while being with the one that doesn't give what "is needed", good chance you are going to have more than what you bargained for.
