I installed spybot as I was getting so much garbage and I still get it and now cant send emails Im thinking of throwing the thing in the nearest river!!!

uninstall it --go to add and remove programs .most spy/virus /security systems are basically work alone systems.they see each other as threats-i guess you have added spybot along with another existing system.hope this helps.

I don't think Spybot is the prob. I use it but it is only a scan on demand prog - although it will "immunise" your comp from infections. Look see if it has installed a prog to stop changes to your comp(near the time on your bottom taskbar), disable that and try emails again.

I reckon spybotS&D isn,t the problem either,,,it,s one of the only programs i,ve never ever had any problems with..10/10 when it comes to Spybot S&D..
