i hav three comps. each comp have 1 lan card. ADSL modem has one lan slot. i have one swtich with 8 ports. can u tell me how to connect all three comps to internet. ?

Well with just a switch, you can't. Your ADSL modem only supplies ONE internet address and with three computers you would need three if all you have is a switch.

If you get a router, it will supply addresses for your machines and share the one Internet Address between them

The easiest way to get all three working is get a router.

you need a router, then plug the uplink port on the switch in to the router, then the WLAN port on the router into the ADSL modem.

So DSL line > Modem > Router > Switch > PCs
