Yes! Sometimes it was flattering and sometimes not.......and often the harder you try to "set the story straight" the less you are believed. I have found it best to say little and let my actions speak. People often believe what they want to believe, rather than what is in front of them.

Most of my life, though I make no excuses nor do I try
to get any story straight. See I came from a Bunch of hard drinking, lovin' and living fellas. That really meant no harm, it just kinda followed us around. Then I had Sons and wanted to stop the madness. You see all that stuff was years ago.......But they hear it and think its cool.
Well it isn't cool. People being afraid of ya for no reason, only what they've heard. I only takes a little bit to gain a reputation, but it takes a LIFETIME to live it down. Thanks for letting me unload!

well, people have often judged me before getting to know me. and they've judged certain situations. like the time i let this guy kiss me because i had never been kissed before. that day i met him through a friend of mine and got to meet his friends. the next time i saw him with one of his friends, because i didnt really know anyone besides my friend who was serving drinks at the mini-bar, i started talking to the guy's friend, and the next thing i knew, he was going around saying to people that something was going on between his friend and i, and that next thing i knew, my friend was calling me the s*** word and people were in agreeance with him. now that was a ****** up day. since then, i have spent all this time trying to set the story straight. that nothing happened between the guy's friend and i. found out it was pointless, however finding it weird how my friend and that guy are trying to set me up with the friend of the guy

On occasion I have done that,but not too often..I'd rather just blow it off as their loss and misunderstanding than try to explain it all..=)
