In a heartbeat, and I would join him. Grew up with a great big train town in the basement! Awesome!

Would I "let" him? We don't tell each other what to do. This would only be an issue if money were an issue, like if one of us was unemployed. Of course, we consult one another on major purchases (for example, I wouldn't go out and buy a car without his blessing), but model railroading doesn't sound like a major purchase.....that is, unless you're talking about going out and buying the entire railroad and town that goes with it all in one fell swoop.

So, what your chum's asserting is that if the girl's no longer bisexual and he caught her with yet another guy, he could've been able to forgive her? Her sexuality shouldn't count. What concerns is the reality that she cheated on him. They shouldn't get married if she would be able to't stay trouble-free to him. What could take place if he catches her back? He needs to think of very carefully earlier making any selection.

Most certainly Mike! Why would I even think of not allowing him to take up any hobby? If he wanted I would even join him in whatever hobby he showed interest in. My B/F and my self share a very broadminded, transparent, fun-loving, live-in relationship!!!

Sure... why not?
I think women tend to want their guys to not get so involved in a hobby that they feel neglected, but if it's only a hobby and he doesn't get obsessed with it... again, why not? :)

Absolutely, if that's what he wants. Anything, as long as it kept him out of the bars.
