I thought Cell was great! Very believable when you see all the cell phones out there today! It'll make a good movie as long as they stick close to the book. (unlike in Dreamcatcher)
Have you read Blaze yet? It's an old book written under his Bachman name. He found it, dusted it off, tweaked it a little and put it out there for us die hard fans. I've only just gotten into it. So far, so good.

Very, very normal Stephen King - a mile clear of his bigger books. And for a few rationale his books, until they're extra 'fact established' (The Green Mile, Carrie, The Shining, Misery) generally tend to make garbage movies (Christine, Salem's Lot, Cujo, The Dead Zone, Firestarter, Pet Semetary, Needful Things) Though earlier than anybody facets it out, sure, the Bachman quick experiences fare bigger - Running Man is OK, and Stand By me and the Shawshank Redemption are beautiful first-class.... However, Eli Roth turns out to disagree with me, for phrase is he'll direct an version of Cell later this yr, despite the fact that given his response (beneath), I am no longer expecting high-quality artwork... 'I F***ing LOVE that e-book. Such a sensible take at the zombie film. I am so psyched to do it.'

That was the book that got me into stephen king, i definitely enjoyed it. I love his books where there is a big cast of characters like cell, 'salem's lot, the green mile, etc.

I never seemed to like Dolores Claiborne or Gerald's Game. King's books where the supernatural comes out are too amazing. I started reading King this summer with Cell and now i'm on my 8th King book.

The book itself is ok but the ending is really poor. and i think last time i checked the film has been delayed until 2009 but yeh i thinks its being done by eli roth who also did hostel and cabin fever. It should be reasonable as adaptions go.

I loved it. He finally returned to his "Horror" roots. With all of the cellphones out there it seemed plausible. I wish he would continue to go that route with his works.
