I am a soldier currently in Iraq for the 2nd time around. I was here the 1st time in 2003 when the war first kicked off. Now I am here until 2008, and I have to say that I appreciate your enthusiasm and your support...but losing? What makes you think we are losing? Strategically we are winning! Politically we are losing...Any time we lose a soldier we want to say the our friend died for a cause greater than him/her. No soldier wants to hear that thier friend died fighting a war that we lost! We will not lose...Have faith cutie! I, like the rest of the United States Army, know how to fight and win, and not how to fight and fail!

I think he already knows that but is too much of an arrogant asshole to admit his mistake. We went to this war based on his WMD lie in the first place. The man is an idiot. The sad truth is that we will be there at least until a new president is elected.

hes is trying bu t its not that simple to just pack up and go home like that. if he does they the taliban and all those monsters out there will be just like they were when sadam was there. its got to take the peopel to help their govt out and they are not all doingthis. we can't dismiss them like we did with desert storm. i want them home also i hate the war but it had to be we did get rid of a bad man and we'll get rid of a bad one again.but our guys would be in jeapardy if left there like that and slowly backing out is what we have to do we'll do it and maybe that learn you ca't fight what the people wont' help themselves.

never he is a dumb a**. my husband was extended in his deployment because of him and his "troop surge" nothing good is coming of this. the purpose of war through out history has been to conquer and gain. we are not conquering because of NATO and that crap.... and we are gaining nothing. except my friends and my husbands brothers in arms dieing! George Washington's last piece of advice to us was to stay out of foreign affairs .. and we followed that for about 130 years... and then... the french and Indian war.. and wwone and so on.. and the decline of a nation. hurray for the stupidity, and ever growing insanity of our leaders!
