guns, knives, hatchets, axes, gunpowder, lead for bullets, horses, liquor, slaves, etc. Now for the Indians' side of things: furs, meat, salt, corn/maize, squash, pumpkins, potatoes, slaves, etc. There are way too many possible answers here, and too, it depends on whether you're talking North America, South America, or the Carribean!
