Yea I've lied about myself. Made myself older over the internet or face to face said I'm older than I was at the time. I've given people the wrong name, but only if they are really annoying. I mean most people do and I think it can be fun sometimes cos it can open up a whole new world for you. It's like I lied about my age to go out drinking and I met a load of really good new mates so I mean it isn't all bad. As long as you know when to stop I don't think it's really a problem... Altough you don't want to get to caught up in lies cos that could be bad. You don't want to lose the real you in the midst of it all.

I do it all the time on Internet... I just don't trust people I don't know... I also try to look very cool and outgoing when I meet someone for the first time when I truly am a kind of a person who doesn't like to be bothered a lot... If you ask me why I do this, I have no idea. Maybe is because I'm friendly and a loner at the same time?

I think everyone has lied at one time or another in their life. I have known many people who lie when they go to bars and try to "pick up" people or at work saying that they were more successful at things then they really are. Have I ever lied about myself, no, I never have done that. I am comfortable with who I am and the type of person I have grown to be. Lying gets you nowhere. In the end, whether it is in a relationship or at work, you usually get caught. Even if you don't get caught, you have to live with yourself and that guilt throughout your life. I want people to accept me for who I am, not who and what I claim to be......

Of course, if there is anything as a normal crime, I think LYING would be one on the top!

Well, sometimes I lie about my name because I want a name very much when I was younger and it was one of the oppurtunities I can grab at that time...

When I was a lot younger, I lied to a guy about my address because I was too scared for my mom to know that I got a suitor visiting me already!!!

yeah. Remember ICQ? well, that was THE thing to do when i was in high school. A friend and i said we were hitmen out to find some guy that these other people from our school knew. We had fake names, ages, locations, and said we would pay out a "finders fee".

Yes - I once indirectly blamed someone else for smelling bad under the armpits, when it was in fact me that was smelling. I was about 14 years old at the time.
