My experience was the summer I graduated from high school. A friend and I rented a beach house for a month, and had several parties during that time. We were both dating older men at the time [oy vey], and they kept us supplied with liquor. One night we started drinking tequila, and I ended up drinking about 3/4 of a bottle. And then the vomiting began -- always swell fun.

That was in 1980 -- to this day, 27 years later, if I so much as smell tequila, I get nauseous.

So what's your story, mack?

Ah, a night I somewhat remember. 1971. Just released from the Flagstaff jail (for hitchhiking) after 2 wonderful nights enjoying their hospitality. With 2 broken ribs, several lose teeth and a split lip, I felt I earned a little R&R.

Off to the nearest watering hole I went. Slowly but determined.

What a night! Or two. Anyway, sobering up in El Paso, not really sure how I got there, next to what I am pretty sure was a woman, I swore that never again would I drink that much again.

But then I looked with bleary eyes at my surroundings and decided that if I was going to be in El Paso I might as well be drunk.

And so it goes.

Reason I can't drink tequila anymore: eighteen snake-bites in two hours. Puked for four hours, slept for four, repeat for two days. Probably should've gone to a hospital. Oh, well, that was many, many years ago.

Then there's Fourth of July, 1998. We made a tub full of Alabama slammers. Tasted like Kool-Aid. I probably had eight beer glasses. They couldn't wake me up, so I slept on the living room floor. They were good friends, so they didn't mind. :)

Also, last New Year's. I hadn't been out in a while, so I was having a really good time. I drank a fifth of Mudslide by myself. I remember my husband telling me it was time to go home, (No, he wasn't drinking.) don't remember the drive, even though it's, like, half an hour, and barely remember him half-dragging me into the house. Boy, was I hung over! Head pounded all day!

I have had some awful experiences with the'hard stuff'.Talking about Tequila reminds me of the time we were fooling around with a bottle of it. I hated the taste. Even with the lemon and salt. But the friend I was with drank steadily. I ended up taking him to the Out Patients at our local hospital, after he passed out. Turned out he had suffered a heart Attack. He was ill for ages after that. I have been a Teetotaller for over twenty years. But in my time I put away plenty.

My 21st birthday (on 8/8/88, as a matter of fact). My memory of the event is a bit spotty, but I vaguely recall setting out to drink 8 drinks and kiss 8 girls at the club I ended up at.
Miraculously, I made it out of there without getting in a fight. I think...

Almost a whole half gallon of apple smirnoff vodka and about 6 beers. I just remember snapshots of the night and I woke up on a picnic bench. I had a hang over for two days.

It was in the summer of 2002. My best friend, this guy we knew and I decided to make up some drinks. We used different variations of these ingrediants: Dr Pepper, rum, 7UP, vodka, sunkist, grape soda, whiskey, and Mt. Dew. All I remember is that they were very good, and I remember us in the kitchen making them, and crawling on my hands and knees upstairs to my bedroom, shoving a finger in my throat by the trashcan and going to sleep. Let me tell you it was very interesting and funny to see the pictures and video taken that night cause I don't remember a dam thing! And there was like 15 or so people there and all I remember is us 3. Good times, GOOD TIMES!!!!!

OMG!!!!!! I am SO embarrassed to even say! MANY years ago, (about 32 to be exact), I had broken up with my b/f and I got POLLUTED drunk feeling sorry for myself. I honestly don't even remember driving.....yes driving (like a fool) home, but I had just that morning changed my cat's litter box. The morning AFTER my pity drunk, I woke up (hung over of course) when my best friend had called me, and while talking to her I must have gasped into the phone, because she asked me what was wrong. There in the cats litter box was a HUGE, LONG (not animal like) you know what, and I vaguely remembered being in that box. OMG!!

I'm not sure if I can physicly become inebriated. It seems as though I hold my liquor extremely well, as I can drink like a fish and barely feel a buzz at the end of the night.
