I recently found out that even though my boyfriend and I enjoy a healthy sex life he still helps himself, if you know what I’m saying, quite often. Is this normal at 19? or does it have a reflection on me as a sexual partner. Do all guys just still do that at his age? He says that I leave him more then satisfied but is that true if he still needs to D.I.Y?

The only reason you should worry about a 19 year old guy is if he doesn't D.I.Y.
It definitely is NOT a negative reflection on you. In many cases, the mere fact that he has such a great partner is inspiration for more fantasies, which stimulate his imagination and drive. You could take that as a compliment.
In any case, he is normal and you can be happy he isn't cheating on you. Masturbation has a number of great advantages, not the least of which is that it is impossible to catch any STDs.

Wouldn't worry about it guys still D.I.Y. way past 19. It is no figure on you at all. Girls and guys are different, women need to be in the mood, relaxed etc, guys can just do it what ever. People have different sex drives as well accross the sexes, it isn't a problem at all.

Don't worry about it - it's perfectly normal. Sometimes guys just want a 'quick fix' without having to worry about pleasing someone else. Selfish, I know, but hey, guys are like that. As long as you're being satisfied, then is it really important? If you're not getting it as often as you'd like then maybe you should talk to him about it. By the way, plenty of women do it too! But it really is no reflection on you or your performance, so there's nothing to worry about.

I'm a 37 year old guy, very much in love with my girlfriend and yet I can't help masturbating once a day, even when we've just had sex. No reflection on her, I would say. But is It normal? I wonder sometimes.

Don't listen to that, it's retarded...I'm married and my husband does! It's just a different feeling all together I guess. Every guy I've ever dated has done it, even on days we have sex...or if we have sex everyday. My husband does when he's bored. I just tell him I think he's too in love with himself and make a joke out of it...it really shouldn't bug you, really it's a guy thing!
P.S. I know I'm not a guy but I couldn't just let someone say that...and trust me, I know quite a few guys that do it married taken and single!

OK!! I am going to be honest here. I have been with my husband for 16 yrs now...and we have a very fulfilling sex life. @ 2 yrs ago...i caught him DIY in the shower and I must admit....I was kinda surprised ( considering our active sex life ). However....it is a guy thing! They do have a much higher libido than us gals. So yeah it is fine...at least now my hubbie isnt so shocked if I walk in on him now...lol. I even "help out" from time to time. U are satisfying him! maybe u should considering "helping" yourself as well....its not dirty or anything and if u pretend that he has caught u in the act...it makes for 1 hell of a session ( guys like that too ). I would be worried if you are around and he uses the self service pump instead of going to you. But if he is just doing it to relieve tension when you're not around then that is perfectly normal and has nothing to do with you.
It's like when you have to pee really bad like more than anything....you know you have to go in the toilet....but if there's none around....not much choice but to go behind the bush.

At 19 years of age your boy friend is so full of testerone tha teven just thinking of you will makehim erect and feel sexy.
So he will masturbate it is not a refection against you, it is a case of how much the thought of you turns him on it is perfectly normal

Dont worry all guys do it and they dont stop at 19 i can assure you he will still be doing it when he is in his forties even if he has an active sex life
