As a resident of Vegas I can tell you most of the tourists just wear shorts and t-shirts. Pretty casual. Very few shows have a dress code. Some clubs do however though. If I were you I'd bring mostly just comfortable cool clothes and one or two slacks and a nice shirt for clubs.

Follow-up to one of the other answers you received: "Don't plan to go in and out". Let me tell you, that's ALL people do on the Strip. You walk from casino to casino gonig in and out of them. Sometimes the A/C can be cool but it feels good if you've been walking around. It's not too hot to go out as long as you use some common sense.

casual summer clothing for daytime and comfortable shoes for walking on the strip. for night nice clothes like club type clothes. Inside of the buildings and casinos have the air conditioning on very cold inside keep that in mind. Though outside is hot. Make sure if you go to the swimming pool areas to wear sandals and do not be barefoot as your feet could really get a serious burn.

Outdoors, Vegas seems like it is truly hell during the summer months. Don't plan to pop indoors then outdoors, then back in again.

For staying indoors, the weather is kind of chilly air-conditioned temperature. You can go from casino to casino and never set foot outside for quite a distance, so dress normally.

When you do plan to venture outside, plan in advance. Wear white or light colors, loose clothing, and please cover any exposed parts with strong sunblock, or you will look like a lobster in no time flat, regardless of what your color or sun sensitivity level is. And don't stay out there too long, either. Forty five minutes is about my limit before I need cool fluids, shade, and someplace to sit down out of the heat. And I'm a person who usually LOVES the sunshine!

i'm style of sick of the warmth (no longer the warmth, yet warm climate...you be conscious of) starting to be up New Orleans. So i'm going to circulate with 22 ranges with a coat and leather-based gloves (for a extra useful grip). BQ: "Shrinking" often is the main suitable word, despite if that is been used too plenty already, so i'm going to circulate with "Wilting" (decrease than the tension)

I always wear/take a cool looking set of matching shorts/shirt jacket with co-ordinating tank top. Neutral color linen slacks, a cotton shirt, a cotton blazer, cotton skirt and shirt set, one dress-up dress with accessories, flat shoes, little heel shoes. Always have some kind of a cardigan or other wrap for the icy air-conditioning. Thy set the thermostat on 0 and leave it there.
