I FEEL THAT THIS IS JUST ANOTHER WAY FOR COMPANIES AND THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTROL PEOPLE BY THEIR CREDIT SCORES AND A FORM OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINTS ANYONE WITH A POOR CREDIT RATING.

Well it is one. Of the many forms of discrimination, your credit rating seems to be a pretty just one. Your criminal record is also a just form of discriminating potential employees or tenants or what not.
I agree that is it a form of discrimination but in this case, a person is discriminated against due to their past actions and judgment. The only complaint I would have about this is that credit reports are notoriously inaccurate. These days you should probably check your report before you apply for a job and make sure there are no surprises.

What is really wrong is that things like credit ratings have been used by employers to not hire people because of bad credit scores. When for many people such things were caused by circumstances beyond their control such as illness, injury, divorce, identity theft etc.
I believe that information about a person should be completely private ( except for police records etc ) and should only be able to be accessed when a person actually applies for credit.
I do not do the credit card thing, been there done that, never again, nothing but a debit card for many years and I am much better off financially.

Yes and No... It is true that FICO scores are another tool the rich are using to seperate well the "rich" from the "poor".. Once you are in debt, debt collectors break all sorts of laws to collect money from you, sometimes money you are not legally entitled to pay. As your FICO score gets lower you will be denied credit, jobs, etc. But, if your a rich snob who enjoys blowing money out of your *** and have the assets to back up loans, credit, you are given anything you want... Only to go through a mid-life crisis, squander your credit cards on strippers and late night cocaine deals etc...... FICO scores could be the cause of the next great depression in our lifetimes, so buckle up and do something about your credit ratings... Check your credit report, make sure debt collectors are showing accurate information, watch out for scavenger debt collectors (they buy old debt for pennies on the dollar and then re-age the account to make the debt seem more recent than it actually occured).... Write letters of validation.

Your credit rating used to be a privacy thing along with your criminal records. The Republicans have been using these tools to promote their party for the last 30 years as discriminating tools.
Why do you think they loath the ACLU and Civil Rights?

till your state regulation specially says which you may not be refused a job for a low credit status (which I doubt), then you definately might properly be refused for that reason. many roles require somebody to be around funds or different valuables. Others contain a good number of accountability. A low credit status is a threat to many employers. It tells them which you ought to be in threat for robbery, and which you're actually not very to blame. it extremely is rather accepted in administration positions and asset secure practices (secure practices).

Any distinction or difference is a form of discrimination.

To "discriminate" simply means to make a distinction based on a difference.

But it's not illegal or unconstitutional discrimination.
