You could bleed for months on depo, or eventually you may not bleed at all!

However, depo is VERY VERY harmful to a woman's body. I would never EVER recommend this to anyone for any reason.

Google depo provera lawsuit and check out the reviews on http://www.rateitall.com and see just how many women who were on the shot experienced harmful negative side affects.

I'm appalled this is still on the market and being administered. Find another contraceptive!

I was on it for four years and I'm so glad I'm OFF of it! Now I need to worry how my periods will be once I'm off the pill and if I'll ever conceive!

do not go for your second shot! i kno a few people who have been on this for as little as 2 shots and are now having trouble conceiving!

if you want children when your older or are undecided stay away.

this drug also causes physical problems like weight gain, loss of bone density, cysts... the list is endless. google the depo provera lawsuit and see what other people have written about it!

That is normal. I was on depo for 5 years. The first 6 months your body while adjust to it and then periods will be a thing of the past.

your body just needs to adjust to it ,and my best friend is on it and has been for about 2 yrs, and she has gained a significant amt of weight due to it, so be careful especially if weight is a "problem" of yours
