Have'nt You heard Prince song 1999, or the Y2K Hype? All my 37 years I've heard that story about that lie, and thats what it is, enjoy yourself and stop thinking about that type of negativity. Maybe become a student of science to figure out a way to make the universe a safer and better place.

Several people have asked this already, so here's my answer... again.
Yes, 2012 is one of the apocolypse dates (like 1984, Y2K, and 6-6-06) that will come and pass like any other media fear orgy. It is said that the Mayans predict the end of Earth on December 21st of 2012. Not true.
Mayans do not predict the end of the Earth on 12-21-12. That is when the completion of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar occurs.
It's superstition, urban legend, and trashy paper back novels (all printed in the last 10 years) that have predicted the end of the world on that day. Even Nostradamus made bogus predictions more than 10 years out.

Do not worry;even after 19 you will be asking questions like this and we will be answering.Earth will not suddenly vanish;if that is true, then the earth would have vanished long back.It is true that oneday the earth has to come to an end but that will be a slow process and may take millions of years, that too after the extinction of all living things.

The only thing will happen that day is a favourable opposition of Jupiter, at only 4,11 AUs (about 616 million kms). A spectacular event.

Dear little sister; haven't you ever been told that there is no death. Death has flee away and been totally conquered by the resurrection of Jesus. It is only just a little while until He returns to us after having prepared places for each and every one of us with Him in heaven. He said that, He told us that I go to the Father in Heaven to prepare places for us, and if it were not so He would have told us" Do you think Jesus is lying to us? You know the Savior doesn't lie! Life is eternal and there is no death in life. Death is thrown in the lake of fire and is no more. So start preparing to live for ever and enjoy life to the full; that is why he came to give us life and to make it better and eternal. Live and be joyful and spread joy to the world!

Don't worry, if you don't step in front of a moving bus on that day you will be fine.
