haha. well my mom just went over to my aunts house to take care of a kid so that they could kick my cousin's scummy boyfriend out of her house. and she stabbed her father for some reason. i haven't heard the whole story yet. it just happened. i hope her dad is dead. anyway, that's just this week. last week she overdosed and had to go to the hospital and almost died and she had to go to a mental rehabilitation hospital out of town for a weekend. would u consider that disfunctional? haha.

It would take more space than this little Y!A box to explain the full span of my dysfunctional family. They are same way though they will call when babies are born or people are in the hospital or die.
Since I've gotten older family events have gone down to pretty much just one Christmas party and even then only about 1/3 of the family actually shows up so its not soooo bad.
I'm guess I'm just thankful that there are a few relatives that I can count on if I need them.

My family use to be dysfunctional but then became Christians when I was about 12. We were much happier after that. I am now married and don't think we are dysfunctional. We have our ups and downs, but for the most part I am avoiding all the stuff my parents did when I was young.

something could make a dysfunctional relatives. It somewhat relies upon on the human beings. now and lower back that is divorce or death. different circumstances it somewhat is drug/alcohol habit. it would desire to be abuse, undesirable parenting, strained relationships with diverse individuals, out of hand toddlers or ailment. something could make a relatives dysfunctional despite the fact that it somewhat relies upon on the families potential to deal with a definite situation. Like one relatives can get with the aid of a divorce without issues and yet another relatives would be shattered. there is by no skill a desirable relatives so i don't think of you are able to positioned your finger on one specific ingredient that makes each relatives dysfunctional.

I think you know enough about me to answer that question yourself. I'm glad you do have a backbone & stick up for yourself. When they don't let you attend family functions, they'll be the ones suffering in the end. When they're old & dying and nobody to visit them but you. And then they'll wonder why you didn't visit.

Hmm, where should I start? My mother is bipolar, my father was an abusive alcoholic for 24 years (once put a loaded gun to my mother's head), most of my 8 siblings (only one of them, my sister, and I share the same mother and father) are on drugs, and my youngest sibling was born with fetal alcohol syndrome because my father and stepmother (who died at 28 because of her alcoholism) thought it was ok to drink while pregnant. And that, my friend, is only the tip of the ice berg.
