Do you think that Tata Motors will be able to succesfully make a car with a retail of $2500?

I read that they were making a vehicle that is expected to cost only $2,500 and have a warrante for 10 years plus get 50+ MPG.

I think that big buisness will not alow this. They will say it is unsafe or something. Plus they will tax the hell out of it to make it not worth it.

They won't be able to do that and pay their employees a decent wage. As compared to the US auto industry.
