I would say that windex isnt going to hurt them rims any at all but i relly don't know how shiny they will make them they make a special cleaner just for that to make them shine and bling bling and it also helps to make it easier to clean the next time you wash your rims

Cleaning your chrome rims with Windex gives you beautiful results, but the problem is it leaves them completely unprotected from the elements, which means that you'll start having problems with rust, you're much better off using a wax type polish that will protect the chrome from rust and corrosion, it's more work, but nice rims don't come cheap, and using Windex, you'll start seeing rust in under a year, it's well worth the little extra work to keep your rims looking like new for many years, hope this helps.

I've always used soap and water. Then car wax to make them shine. But it is your car and you can do whatever you want to with it. Windex will work also.

It's definitely okay to clean them with Windex. It will make them clean and shiny.

probably won't hurt. look for the multi surface formula. I think armorall carries something just for that purpose.
