You'll have to buy used to get a GAMING laptop for that price. Try eBay or Craig's List.

You cannot get a good gaming laptop for under $500. You can try getting a Dell for under $500, but it's not that good at gaming.

You can't build a really good gaming desktop for that little, I'd think that a gaming laptop for that price is out of the question.
