I have birds so mice are a big problem. I can't use poison because I don't what to poison my dogs and a very lazy cat. Any ideas of what to do thankyou

The mice are out side in the bird cage and under the veranda all over the place but outside.This is more of a problem than the one i have inside. I think cat might get that one.

You will have to trap the mice. You can buy killing traps cheap at the dollar store or Wal-mart. You can buy live traps at the hardware store, but you will have to transport the mice to a safe release spot. Don't release in a park or in the alley, because they will just come back.

There are electronic rodent "repellers" that you plug into your wall to keep the mice away. They work, but you will need about 3 times as many as the package says that you need. They will not bother your birds or dog, and they will also repel roaches.

The mice will drown if a container of water is available from which they cannot escape, especially if you live in a drought area.
