papers i need a certified copy so that i can get my name changed for my drivers license and i got divorced in 2001, but it says i can change my nmae whenever i want

either from the clerk of court where you got divorced - or from the attorney that handled the case.

Sweet Pea go to the court house in your state and you have to pay for the paperwork, but I think it is the same place you get you marriage license, or birth certificate. It should be call the records building. Good luck!

Go to the courthouse where your divorce was filed and pay for the certified copy. It will be more $ than just a regular copy so be prepared....

you can go to the court house where ever you got your divorce. they have all that stuff on file. you might have to pay like a quarter per page or something but they will have it where ever your divorce was at.
