Do you feel you've gotten your money's worth? You do realize you could have had completely free health care for every American (and even the illegals) for 100 years for less than that. You could have increased salaries for teachers and built quality schools and research facilities nationwide. You could have invested in clean energy programs on a huge scale to make America the world's clean energy standard. When the dust settles, what will you come away from Iraq with?

We could have had all of that already if we didn't give billions of OUR tax money to other countries that cannot help themselves out of the rat-hole conditions that they live in, while their governement lives like kings. Don't put the US down...we are the ones that are providing medical care, food, military support, while our own kids here have no health care, food, clothes. Don't bite the hand that feeds you!

The money we spent on the war in Iraq could have been used instead on the real war on terrorism. If it had, we could have defeated Al Qaida, captured Bin Laden and prevented the terrorist attacks on London and Spain

What exactly was the question? Is that what it costs the US involvement in Irac? If so, I say, get out, fix our own country and let them fix their own. Nobody ever offers to help us in return. Maybe it's time they started giving back.
