So basically I was wondering what English people like to eat on christmas day. Give me a list of common food items.

Traditioanlly it's Roast turkey with stuffing and with roast potatoes, sausage rolls and vegetables. For desserts it's Christmas pudding and mince pies.

Many people also eat bacon, I saw Delia Smith (a well known TV cook) say the Turkey should be coated in butter and then lay Bacon on the top only removing later to allow the Turkey to brown - my thought was "coronary waiting to happen" LOL

Roast turkey obviously! Forcemeat balls, bacon and sausage rolls, stuffing, bread sauce, veggies, gravy. Christmas pudding and brandy sauce.

Or Goose with much of the above! Or venision, which will be ours this year!

I like airplane food.I fly out to asia on xmas day
john...........christmas is not a time of celebrating satan......dec 25th has been adopted as the day of jesus's birth partly because it was convenient to have his day during a time of festival. The pagan mid-winter festival is around this time but it does not and never has celebrated satan.Satan is a christian invention
As adults most believers know jesus probably wasn't born on christmas day,but he was certainly born sometime and that is worth celebrating. The day is only symbolic
Bah..humbug

Christmas is a pagan holiday. You are celebrating the birth of Satan.
