well, lets see. for each zinc atom there will be one zinc choride molecule

Zn + HCl -> ZnCl

So if you have 1 mole of Zn, you get 1 mole of ZnCl.

How many moles of Zn do you have in 4.96 grams of Zn?

4.96 g of Zn is 4.96/65.4 = 0.0758 moles of Zn. This will produce 0.0758 moles of ZnCl2 of molec mass 136.3 gm/mole
or 10.34 gm ZnCl2
