I had a 15 year old foster daughter who lived in my home for a while and we grew a very strong bond. CPS moved her out of my home and back into her old neighborhood w/ a new foster family to keep her in her old school district. My foster daughter calls me daily crying that she wants to come back to my home and CPS will not listen to her. She doesn't care about the school being as though she is on independant study, because she just gave birth to her son. We have a very close bond and I have escalated up the CPS food chain to get someone to listen to her, and no one does. She has been moved twice since my home and still calls me crying. My heart is breaking and I want her back home with us. What can i do to help her, where can i go, What do I do??? Does she have any rights? Please help!

The court determines who is the right person for the custody of the child.

I truly think our foster care system is messed up. I wonder sometimes if they even consider the child in all this mess.
All I can say is,keep bugging them. She should have the choice of where she wants to live as long as your home was suitable.
Would it be possible to adopt her? I really hate when they shove these poor kids around from home to home, that is no life for any child to have to live.
I wish you the best of luck, wish I knew what to say to help you more.

I'm sorry I really don't know what to do in such case, Just wanted to say I hope everyhting will work out. I think you should go to court and fight for custody.
