Obviously this depends on how far you want to go. Park City is really nice and has some awesome romantic restraunts off of main street (I highly reccommend the Bistro if you like French food-Ask for Chris Spears if you can, he's a WONDERFUL server) you can rent a condo/hotel room for the night and just have a nice romantic evening with eachother.

There's also classic camping up in places like Mirror Lake (Echo and Rockport Rvrs are closer if you dont want to go THAT far)

even a hotel in downtown SLC can be nice (the Monoco Inn is nice...I've heard of quite a few couples staying there their marriage night)

Moab or St. George/Cedar City (if you enjoy plays the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar goes until Oct I think.) are fun.

Oh, and I've heard that there's a company that does sunset dinner cruises on the Great Salt Lake...somewhere out of Tooele I think....

if you want more ideas, i'm up for email or IM if you like-I'm a Utah native and know the state inside and out. i'd just need more ideas on what you like to do and how far you're willing to go and if you wanted to go like overnight or what, etc.

either way though, congradulations and good luck!

Zion and Moab are nice. You might try Sundance and see if they have any plays or other cool events going on. On our anniversary my wife and I went to the Hilton in downtown Salt Lake (we lived in Provo). It was nice to be someplace different, even though it was close.

I loved Zion National Park. They have a nice lodge you can stay in, and a good restaurant. The scenery is hard to beat.
