i found a bed bug infestation in my mattress a couple hours ago. i've been spraying cans and cans of raid and black flag and other bug killers that specialize in ants, roaches, silverfish, etc. will this kill some of them? will these bug poisons have effects on the nest? i know i've drowned a majority of the critters in it. i've used like 5 cans of spray up so far.
tomorrow i plan on goin out and buying a spray especially for this problem, such as d 20 or whatever its called.
anyone have any other solutions for this though? or tips? any help?
and no, i do not wanna hire proffessional help from this, i read online you can buy stuff that's 10 times more effective.

I suggest getting rid of the mattress and bombing your house with chemicals specifically made for bed bugs...I wouldn't keep the mattress....
*EDIT*
Bedbugs are NOT the same thing as dust mites. Dust mites do not bite, they are not parasitic. Bed bugs live off of human blood.

"5 cans of spray" I sure hope you don't intend to sleep on that mattress now. You'll probably get something from all that spray that you'd wished was from the bugs.
You didn't have to use any spray at all, all you had to do was wash the bedding, that's all it takes.
"Bedbugs: per se or, "dust mites" a better and more common name, are nothing more then a parasite that's been with us since the beginning of time.
Wash the bedding three times a week. Dust mites cannot live with or, stand the light or fresh air, if you leave the bedding off the mattress it will aid in killing them.
It's not the dust mite that's doing the damage but, their "Poop" that's what every ones allergic to.
Do not spray anymore, your harming yourself, your skin this way, just wash your sheets and the rest of the bedding, vacuum the mattress.

lady praying mantis will eat the top / majority of the physique of the male after having intercourse. no longer after conventional theory, or perhaps baby-beginning, yet after intercourse. the comparable is going for many styles of spiders, in that the female will kill and eat the male after intercourse as a manner to grant crucial foodstuff for the eggs to develop. As to why it may be an clever layout, identity does no longer quickly clarify each thing, and why it happens, or if it has a purpose. it extremely is like asking the question "If God is all-powerful / all efficient, why could he create the Tree of expertise interior the backyard of Eden, and then expressly tell guy to no longer eat from it. He understand what could take place." there is not any discernible answer to the question. My wager, and that i'm specially going Darwinism right here, is that it extremely is extremely a survival of the fittest. If a Male needs to mate, he might desire to take it by potential of tension. If he's not stable sufficient to, then he dies and his defunct genetic code dies with him. If he's, then hurray, a more desirable male would be born from him, for this reason ensuring the procreation of the species.

You are going to have to at the very least get rid of the mattress. That spray stuff doens't kill them.

My grandma used to place the mattress in the sun. It helps to dry out the mattress.
