If I leave my iPod Nano on iHome alarm clock overnight will it overcharge the battery and result in the iPod not holding a charge? I want to wake up to songs on my iPod but it needs to be on the dock the whole time and I don't want to hurt it!!

no, it won't hurt it, the ihome stops pumping energy into the nano when it is fully charged

it won't over charge. it will stop charging when full and should have a read out that states charged with a full green battery
