It doesn't really matter,. It could be spelled differently depending of the origin of the word and what country you're in.

Aarav would be spelled like Aaron.
Arav would be spelled like Adam.

I think it just depends on which way is easier for the child and their friends and others to spell it as to which way you spell it.
