Just wondering is there any aussie rules players coming close to catching Pluggers goal kicking record.and how many are they on and what was the record.

Matthew Lloyd has 813.
David Neitz has 620.
Matthew Richardson has 731.



Plugger's record is 1,381 goals.

nobody will come close to pluggers record of 1360 goals. the closest of the current players would be matthew lloyd who only just passed 800 and has only about 4 years left depending on injuries. gone are the days of kicking 100 goals a year

If memory serves me correct, Plugger said not too long ago that the only player now capable is M. Lloyd.

My opinion is, with the game changing so much, and teams relying more on goals from midfielders than just one stand out full forward, I can't see the record ever changing hands.
