Yes it is possible to do origination's in California without a real estate license.

You can work for someone that has obtained a California Finance Lender's License. (CFL) There are many of them located throughout California.

If you look in the news paper their ad will say no license required.

You may also apply for such a license without a real estate license or a real estate brokers license and there is no 2 year or college degree required.

You apply for this license through the Department of Corporations. You will find them listed in the telephone book for offices located in Northern and Southern California.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

Private Lenders are seeing to it that their los are licensed by DRE.... although liars are still everywhere - I think the best way to really know is to ask for their license number at the time of the transaction.

i think but not too sure of is Bank los doesn't need license because theirs are very structured -but - like what i said, not too sure...it won't hurt to ask the loan originator themselves.
