When I smoke in public I try to go to a place where people will not be around. Makes me feel silly sometimes cause I feel like I'm hiding but I don't like to smoke around people who aren't, I do feel rude doing that.

Now in a bar, I feel differently. But that will be changing soon enough too.

Smoking outside is not rude, if you don't like it there is plenty of room elsewhere. There is actually a town in Utah that is wanting to ban smoking outside... even on your own property. So now all those considerate people who were stepping outside for the sake of their children will have to smoke indoors or get fined. Nice.

I really do hate when somsone smokes next to me i public. It is their right though, and if I am doing something that I enjoy I would hate people coming up to me to tell me to stop. I lvoe to sing out loud in public. I have a really bad voice. It may be rude to sing when I am so bad at it but it makes me happy. I personally applaud cities that now make it illegal to smoke in public areas, and if someone broke that law I would have no problem going up to them and ask them to put it out. Just hoping the day when singing in public never comes!!!!!

I'm a smoker and it is rude and inconsiderate to smoke around some one that does not smoke something I would never do.
But it is also rude: that if I go way out of my way to get as far away from people to smoke and some nut comes up to me just to bitc* at me . hay just don't breath if it bothers you that bad , I didn't come over to you and I didn't ask you to come with me to smoke!

People actually walk inside non smoking facilities around here smoking and then get all pissed off when they're told to put out their cigarettes. They complain about not being allowed to smoke anywhere. I always respond yeah it's not like anyone else has to breathe this air or anything.

sweetie, don't worry about something you aren't doing
you have better things to focus on
if someone smokes inside your home, or where you are, then that could be a rude thing, but not in public, come on, get real

I think people should have the freedom to decide whether or not they wish to smoke in public.

I also think people have the freedom to decide whether they wish to move across the room to avoid the smoke.

Edit: It's funny how many people I have talked to that believe smoking cigs are taboo, but it's okay to smoke pot...when in reality, smoking pot is more harmful than cigarettes...

I don't think much of people that smoke either. But I also just wanted you to know that, I didn't think you could get your Aviator to look any better but you did.
