*clean plate heroine*
I have a very small appetite so I never really load my plate all at once. If need be, I just get seconds. Besides, I'd been trained well not to be wasteful with food. My mamita (lola) would often remind me "Inday, it's not right to waste food coz people died of famine in Biafra."
It was only in high school when I finally knew what & where Biafra was. As a kid, I thought it was just an imaginary place.

Clean plate heroine QUEEN.
I have often been told that after meals, my plate is so clean that I could put it back in the plate rack. :D
Besides, it's "nakakakonsensya" to waste food while knowing that a lot of other people are starving out there...

i have always been a clean plate hero & was even a persistent advocate.
but lately, because of health & other reasons & an over abundance of food, i have become a wasteful willy.
