The Bible won't help you here.

When will you have a choice to kill an innocent unborn person? The Bible has nothing to do with this issue. I'm not sure how the Bible got all wrapped up in this issue.

I wonder how many here has had an abortion?

Maybe thats why there is so much trouble in the world, particularly from stupid hypocrite americans. You don't mind murdering people across the world, but get upset if a woman exercises her right to terminate a pregnancy. Life is so precious to you pro-lifers, but you don't mind bombing the crap out of a clinic and taking other lives in the process.

Pro lifers would rather see a million poor unhappy women than a productive happy community. Thats right you stupid pro-lifers, force your own particular brand of fanaticism on the rest of us and call it divine will.

Mama Bush should have done us all a favour and aborted W.

Well, go ahead and like it, but don't amend the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. Personally, I think the government and anyone who has not been faced with having to make that choice should butt out. There's no way anyone else can understand unless they've been there.

Being neither pro-life or pro-choice... I'd say you sound to be a pro-choicer trying to rile up pro-lifers.

But it is my opinion (on the whole abortion debate) that men should not have a say (I am a man). Men have the absolute right to abort a child at any time. (leave the mother, never see the child, and run away from child support) A mother has only 3 choices, 1) Give birth and raise the child as a single mother , 2) Give birth and give the child up for adoption , 3) Abortion.
None of the above sound like very good options and men do not have to deal with the above 3 choices if they decide to "abort". Therefore I believe a bi-yearly review of abortion law should be conducted by an entirely female board that would decide abortion law and change it as need be.

You're an atheist, eh? Than you do know that there is a God, because you are someone who says there isn't, but how do you even know what a god is?

You're right, people have a choice. But their choice should be whether or not to have sex, not getting rid of their consequences. You're a loser.

I'd like it better if "choice" meant terminating a pregnancy by methods that don't deny the unborn liberty and pursuit of happiness. Neither side seems to be interested in research and development of nonlethal pregnancy termination technology, unfortunately.

Um...just....a question...did you actually just replace the word "life" with the word "choice" in the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE? Seriously? I am pro-life, but I've got a lot of pro-choice friends who would not like that at all...

I'm also an atheist,

I think it should be banned after the first trimester though, it's only right.

"Choice" could mean many things, including the choice to kill your spouse, etc.

Curbing wrong choices, especially ones that involve the horrid actions of what occurs during an abortion is central to a healthy and ethical criminal justice system.

If it's granted to the new life living inside the mother's womb, I would support your saying.

So I can take your life? Sounds good!
And no I don't really want to kill this crazy lib, I'm just pointing out how dumb his "saying" is.
Oh...you're an atheist...are you one of those "I'm superior to you because I don't believe in God" atheists? That would make you the Atheist equivalent of a Christian Fundie, wouldn't it?
