Isn't that a tad hypocritical? Why didn't he mention it then?

The first step to becoming a conservative is to not let hypocrisy stop you from judging other people.

I'd say a tad hypocritical, but we all see things as being different when we do something. Ginrich probably figured he was getting divorced anyway, and the woman he was having an affair with wasn't so much younger and wasn't a subordinate, etc. And that made it less dishonorable in his eyes.

Then there was the perjury thing.

But why didn't Larry Flynt catch him?

Even though I am a conservative, I say you are right and I agree with you. On the other hand, at least she wasn't an intern and in the Oval Office for goodness sakes!! Gingrich is guilty of a major screw up, but Clinton's was the "mother of all screw ups."

As Speaker of the House Newt set himself as being the "man or morals and family values." His record with his wives and family is not typical Conservative values. But because he was Newt and they can excuse of his wrongs.

I think it's only hypocritical if he lied under oath about the affair.

The bigger question is, why did the N.O.W ( National Organization of Women/Lesbians) throw EVERY democrat woman under the bus who dared to testify or report Clinton's rapes, molestations or affairs? I thought it was the "seriousness" of the charge, not whether or not a woman would lie about such things. For reference, see Clarence Thomas or Bob Packwood.

A greater lack of charchter then most politicians (who tend to already be devious for some reason).
