Yes, but he has so much more baggage than that.

Someone asked for links.

Yes it does. The polls might not say it now but this is a bad reflection of his true character and personality. He argues that he respects his childrens political opinions but don't you just know he is gritting his teeth. Makes me wonder why his kids would come out and go public with this, knowing it will hurt his campaign. It's almost like they want to ruin him. If he was a good father even if the kids had different political views they would keep it to themselves out of respect.

Definitely... His daughter is voting for Barack Obama & his son is undecided. His kids can't stand him because of how he treated thier mom. That tells a lot about Guiliani's character.

Absolutely.

I really don't think there's too much more that could hurt him politically. His children backing Barack? Nope...

It's up to you, for you are 'the people'. What hurts candidates politically is what we decide hurts them. I, for one, don't think it speaks very well of him... it gives me a negative impression of him... which I had to begin with, so he only gets worse in my eyes.

No personally.

Obama also concerns me for several other reasons:
(This is what I'm hearing and reading.)

-Obama grew up in a Muslim country, Indonesia.
His step father is Indonesian
His father is Muslim

-Obama changed his name to Barry when he moved to the United States

-Obama's father's family was involved in the MauMau uprising in Kenya, Africa many, many white settlers were slaughtered in the uprising (1950's)

-Obama got his start in Illinois politics when the Black Panthers sent him their to work with inner-city churches

-Obama was sponsored in his run for the Senate by two of the most corrupt politicians that Illinois has seen-and that's saying a lot. They're both under indictment.

How can you justify this? Obama will never be elected president with all this--and more--hanging over his head.

JakeS -- You are a terribly mis-informed air-head.

Perhaps you think only dimwit Republicans surf the web. By the way, I am Kenyan and this is total falsehood:

------------------------------------------------------------
-Obama's father's family was involved in the MauMau uprising in Kenya, Africa many, many white settlers were slaughtered in the uprising (1950's)
------------------------------------------------------------

The slaughter was the other way round -- and if any white settlers were killed in the process, well and good -- because these 'Brit settlers' were a bunch of vicious racists like your forefathers -- STEALING and KILLING in land that did not belong to them.

The Mau Mau stood up to them and defeated them, just like the Muslim insurgency is standing up to U.S imperialism -- wanton theft and killing in Iraq.

The Mau Mau were exclusively made up of the Kikuyu ethnic group and not the Luo ethnic group[Obama's father was a Luo, and so am I] -- who lived[and still do] hundreds of miles away from the center of the action: The so called "White Highlands," in and around the capital city of Nairobi.

Here is a fitting tribute to Barack Obama: http://www.afroarticles.com/article-dashboard/Article/Obama-is-coming--clear-the-way-/5458

...and here is what's wrong with your ReTHUGlican "Janjaweed" imbeciles: http://www.politicalarticles.net/blog/2007/08/07/comments-on-the-rethuglican-iowa-debate-august-5-2007/

Read both in full -- and you will understand why Obama is better than your preferred candidates -- who happen to have the same mentality as those racist and thieving bastards who colonized Kenya for many years, and almost the whole world, as a matter of fact.

At least check your "ReTHUGlican facts" before you post them. Be malicious with FACTS, and not lame and baseless Hot-Air.

As for Giuliani, read the following to grasp how colossally unfit for the presidency, this crude cross-dressing, serial-divorcee is: http://www.politicalarticles.net/blog/2007/08/07/comments-on-the-rethuglican-iowa-debate-august-5-2007/

That his own children have deserted him -- speaks volumes about the man.

NOTE: If Obama is not elected President, it will not be because he is not qualified, but because RACISM is still etched in the white brain like a leech sucking blood.

The same goes to brainwashed blacks who feel that a black man is not good enough to lead this great country.

If George "Mission Accomplished" Bush can --- then everybody else can, including the mentally challenged!

...and JakeS, please STOP listening to drug-addict fabricationist morons like Rush Limbaugh -- poison in a windbag!

I rest my case.

No. Reagan's kids didn't like him, either. I think that Americans view intra-family matters as out-of-bounds, by and large (where kids are concerned, I mean).

Reagan's daughter didn't back him. GW's daughters proved to be normal teenagers and, although embarrassed, it didn't hurt him. I think that pales to Ghouliani's hatred of the Constitution and socialist tendencies.

Hmmm - I wonder if spell check is trying to tell us something. It wanted to change my intentional misspelling of his name to Houdini.
