there is an old greek story about a creature named argus that had something like 100 or 1000 eyes, not entirely sure, but he could only close up to half of them at once, therefore he slept with half of his eyes open. hermes managed to bore him to death, making all of his eyes close, so yes, according to that, it is possible to die from boredom. yeah, i know, it's not horribly accurate or anything, but.....go look it up :P

fortunate!! i tend to easily get extremely bored at artwork so i'm constrained. for a 300 and sixty 5 days now, I easily have been protecting a single mini placed up-it observe sheet with a skinny layer of elmer's. i try this as quickly as a week on what i call do-no longer something tuesdays. the placed up-it now weighs a competent 3 or 4 oz, is 0.5 an inch thick and looks like bathing room tile once I drop it; yet this puppy ain't breaking!! on extremely undesirable days, once I've achieved the weekly layer on the placed up-it, i will glue the palm of my left hand to my table and notice how long it will be earlier that turns into an inconvenience. the checklist to this element is 40 seven minutes and that replaced into only using fact i myself had to pee.

Been there,....done that....You won't perish from it but it sure feels like you will! Break the cycle! Go do something before it's too late!.........Just get up, go out, find something to do even if you don't feel like doing it. As long as it is not illegal, harmful to you or anyone else, go do it. You might actually find something you like to do.

I don't think so. It *is* possible, however, to go literally insane and/or suicidal from boredom, isolation, etc. I guess that would count.

You could visit other YA sites and laugh your A$$ off at some of the questions
I saw one today that said "I keep farting, how do I keep my boss from finding out?" in parenting no less.

You have to do something proactive, like, inter alia, take a flying leap off of a tall building.

If you want some excitement you could always go over and ask if Jesus was a gay eunuch on religion and spirituality.
