Laptop Question??

How come I can't see my desktop?? It only shows my wallpaper and no icons ??? My husband was jacking with it and this is what happens??

right click on the desktop and choose arrange icons by... and then see if show desktop icons is checked

Right click on your Desktop, go to Arrange icons and click on Show Desktop Icons.
