I think at one time there were, Dragons are the only creature that can be found in art from every culture around the world. Let us not forget the little kimono dragon.

There is to much information from all over this world that have described dragons and have stated some of the things that they do.... Now if dragon sighting were limited to just a couple of areas I would have maintained my doubts... But there is not one country on the face of this earth that has not have a multitude of dragons sighting..... And I do not believe that so many people would have a reason to lie about such a thing...... Somewhere in the lines of history they truth has been lost and the history of their dragon has been lost... Thus confinding dragons to Myth and Legend....................................

Yes, Victoria, there is a...er...um...are dragons. There may not have been living, breathing "real" dragons in the same way that there were dinosaurs or in the same way cows exist today, but as a mythological creation of mankind, dragons certainly exist. What is reflected by stories about dragons in various cultures is an extremely important element of the way human beings see and understand the world around us. It doesn't matter if we have fossils or live specimen--Dragons exist, if only in our oral and written traditions.

I believe that dragons did once exist. In Biblical times, people spoke of dragons. We know them as dinosaurs, terrible lizards. As for the whole Harry Potter, Dungeons and Dragons thing, it'd be real cool, but I doubt it could actually be real. (In my opinion it would be awesome!) And also, every culture has it's own dragon tale, from the Kimono, to the Kimodo.

i think they were real but then died off. it is possible for it too. there was once a special on Animal Planet about if dragons where real and they showed the science behind it and all like how they could fly or breath fire. or like the oriental ones the reason there are no wings are possibly a type of dragon that evolved from a sea serpent like one and so on but its ar eally good special and it seems to be that they were real.

There very well may have been. They are mentioned in the Bible. Today we have a creature called the Kimono Dragon.
Dragons have been the subject of Myths for a long time.
I think it is possible that perhaps there were dinosaurs they called dragons until they were killed off by all those brave knights or people who were afraid when they looked in the back door of their house.

No. If there were, there aren't anymore.
Dragons were made in the dark ages,
when people stopped recording things
(that's what the 'dark ages' were)
so, they kind of just had to make up that
section of time, and therefore we have
the whole mystical era: Dragons, Rupenzel,
King Aurthur (although he's not all made up,
at least from what I heard)
