Your right, President Bush says the same thing, so it must be true.

Don't worry, Bush will finish destroying that "piece of paper" before he is done. Sad but true. That piece of paper, is the most important piece of paper in the entire world. It gives freedom to an entire nation. If I can't live free, then I would rather die. If the Constitution is ever abolished, I'll take part in the Revolution that follows, even if it only consists of me. The problem with America today is that there are too many people out there like you, who think the President should have the right to stomp on the Constitution in the name of security. If the Constitution puts me in danger of getting killed by a terrorists, then I guess that is a risk I am willing to take. No one said there wouldn't be some inherent risks that come with being free. If being free is unsafe, then I guess I like living on the wild side.

"The Constitution don't mean nothin'!"
I just have to ask... did you twirl around and throw your cowboy hat in the air after saying that?
You sound like the biggest redneck idiot this side of Dallas. The Constitution is the very fiber this country was founded under. It restores our freedom... and the way that I know this is because stupid redneck idiots like yourself can go online and post their moronic opinions without fear of arrest, intimidation or harrassment from the government.
If I wanted to tie the President's hands, I'd give him a rubber band and five minutes to do it himself. And I've got news, when you spell like a six-year-old no one takes your posts very seriously. You've just exposed your ignorance about six times in the same post.
I hope nothing ever happens to that useless piece of paper, otherwise you might find yourself robbed of all of your freedom and then what? You'll go get your gun and take care of things?
No wonder Bush got re-elected. We let retarded people vote in this country. You post idiotic crap like this and then claim us liberals act like we're smarter than you.
Well, at least I can spell, asshole!

what is America without the Constitution? A flag is just a symbol, but the constitution is the rule of law established on the precident of centuries and tuned for 200 years on american soil...Without this rule of law we are nothing...People talk about not using the flag as a shirt and that burning it is evil and unAmerican...but to say the Constitution is just a piece of paper is treason

And the statement that you made is EXACTLY why the Republican party is failing.
It's more than just a piece of paper; it's the law. It's what America was founded on. It's defines what our government is.
But you just see it as a piece of paper; nothing else, right?

LOL Are you serious?
Hopefully, all sides of American politics take the constitution serious.
I also think, if we are going to make people pledge to something we should pledge allegiance to the constitution instead of the flag (that's just some dyed fabric right. *rolls eyes*).

And America is just a plot of land.
I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.
Thomas Jefferson
Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence.
Thomas Jefferson
