I'm better off than I was 8 and 12 years ago, but it has NOTHING to do with any political party.
In fact, I'd say politics hasn't really impacted my life at all (assuming gas prices didn't change because of political influences).

Making more money than I ever thought, and not because of a republican or democrat, but because I got an education and I work my azz off. My stock purchases through my 401 K are going to do well until I cash them in and the government takes it all, but at least I tried.
