The "fairness doctrine". The reality is that it does nothing at all to address the true unfairness with the mass media. Less than a dozen conglomerates own the majority of the nation's radio/TV stations, newspapers and magazines. I think there are only two remaining major newspapers in the US that are family owned. That is the true unfairness, anything else is emotional babble!
