There is nothing wrong with it. If old music brings you pleasure, listen to it. Don't let what other people think you "should do" influence your actions or else you will be miserable trying to please them the rest of your life. You are exercising your independence. Go for it.

Relax. There is nothing wrong with you listening to the type of music that suits your personality. It's good to have some diversity in your tastes and your class does not have to agree-it is your choice. Besides-if you listen closely or read the liner notes, most of todays 'new' music is nothing more than different elements lifted and sampled from the music of yesterday!

Don't be upset about that, tell them try it before they put you down for it. I too like the old music they meant what they said back then, they were not sing about money and cars they spoke from the heart. Try explaining that to them maybe they are the ones that are on the shorter end of the stick this time.

Well there just robots in society blending into the norm and not being able to express their individuality...so they go along acting like clones always liking the next best thing rather than having actuaL taste...don't worry to much about those fadders, you love your music and you shouldn't have to have their approval on the music you listen to. I listen to oldies too, and im 15, I'm surprised those people have no sense of idividualism...be yourself, you don't have to impress them. It doesn't matter what they think, it matters what you think.

Because it's not "what's in" right now. But that's okay, old music is better than anything that's out right now. I love 80's rock! I was born in 1987, so I obviously don't remember any of it from back then, but my parents introduced it to me to it. While everyone else is listening to their new depressing punk rock and rap, were listening to our oldies. Oldies Rock!!!
