Constructive criticism is a valuable learning tool. Whether you wind up agreeing or not, you still learn from it. Criticism for the sake of criticism, in other words, being petty/jealous/cruel will get you two barrels of it straight back at you. IF I think it's worth the effort..if not...I have a mental "ignore" button I make use of (consider the source and don't bother).

If it is Constructive then I listen and apply the changes that need to be done. If it's not then I just act like I'm listening say thank you and walk away. lol

I find most of it useless whining. For the rare times it is constructive I take note and adjust for improvements.

i criticize criticism. i usually know what i am doing and don't appreciate being looked down on and told the most basic things. so i guess i get a little defensive.

Depends on who is giving it...but usually very well. Other people don't rule my feelings so I hear what they have to say and make my own decisions.
