Starting out as an instructor or as a student? Or perhaps a performer?
If you are a new student - find good classes where you feel you're making good progress. have fun.
If you're an instructor - find a way to teach group classes.
If you're a performer you probably wouldn't be asking this question.

Starting out in Puerto Rico??? Why even ask how we can help? You're walking into a Latin country that is highly into salsa dancing... come back in three months and teach me. I've been dancing for over four years but an authentic experience in a Latin country... you're a very lucky beginner. :-)
